FIELD TECHNICIAN (M/F/D)
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM US
- You ensure Railpool fleet locomotives are maintained to expected quality standards, compliant with company directives, laws and standards
- You support and educate Railpool's maintenance partners in executing preventive and corrective maintenance activities
- You identify and report vehicle issues post-accidents and support troubleshooting activities
- You improve material management and streamline spares logistics within depots, including managing and maintaining Railpool tools
- You perform preventive and corrective maintenance on Railpool locomotives per company and regulatory guidelines
- You supervise and validate maintenance activities by Railpool's partners, ensuring adherence to service contracts and safety standards
WHAT YOU BRING ALONG
- You have a technical school education in mechanical, electrical subjects or in a related field
- You have proven experience in railway maintenance, preferably for locomotives
- You demonstrate familiarity with national and international regulations governing locomotive maintenance (e.g., ANSFISA, ECM)
- You exhibit strong problem-solving skills and an ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively
- You possess excellent communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and external partners
- You maintain a detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to upholding quality and safety standards
- You are available to travel extensively, mostly in Italy but possibly also in other European Countries
- You have the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Business fluent in Italian and a good command of English round off your profile
